Clifton Hill - Public open space disposal consultation

Exeter City Council is considering the freehold disposal of 2,093.65 sq. m (0.517 acres) of land at Clifton Hill which is used as amenity space.

This land forms part of a larger site (total site size is 8,264.82 sq. m/2.04 acres) which the Council proposes to sell to Exeter City Living to enable residential redevelopment providing 44 new homes. Exeter City Living have submitted a planning application (reference 20/0691/FUL) and detailed drawings of the proposed development can be viewed online.

Provisional terms are agreed for the freehold disposal of the amenity space which is shown hatched green on the attached plan, with the whole disposal area outlined red.

Disposal of the amenity space is being advertised under the terms of s.123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972.

The disposal plan and general layout plan are available to download.
