How to Register

General Election 2017

If you are over 18 and registered to vote, you may vote in the election. To register to vote visit here. You can also request a postal vote or a proxy vote if you are unable to vote in person at a polling station.

If you wish to register to vote, completed applications must be received by 22nd May 2017.

If you wish to apply for a postal vote, completed applications must be received by 5pm on 23rd May 2017. Postal votes will be issued about 2 weeks prior to the date of the election. - (Postal votes can be sent abroad but you will need to consider whether there will be sufficient time for the postal vote to reach you and be returned by 10pm on 8 June 2017)

If you wish to apply for a proxy vote, completed applications must be received by 5pm on 31st May 2017.
