Exeter City Council is seeking to recruit a Database Officer as part of the Housing Asset Team where you will play a pivotal role in assisting us to deliver our asset management strategy to maintain and increase our housing stock. The postholder will be required to assist in the management of our databases including the collation and production of reports, data analysis and system verification.

Our Housing Asset programme has seen us set, and meet, ambitious targets, for Health & Safety, compliance, whole house holistic R&M and planned works activities including delivering our own development programme to Passivhaus Standard, and through our place shaping approach we are building strong communities across the City. Our focus is on both new provision and substantial investment in our existing housing stock including a demanding target to retrofit properties and achieve a net zero carbon position by 2030.

To ensure our continued success and growth we are looking for suitable individuals who can match our passion for delivering a high quality programme of affordable homes and thriving communities.

To be part of this successful team you will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, be able to develop and maintain good working relationships, display a comprehensive understanding of “What matters” with customers, clients, contractors, leaseholders and other stakeholders, be willing to contribute to the development on the Council’s online and social media presence to aid customer interaction, and support by  making a positive contribution to the work of the whole Asset Team with a positive “Can Do” culture
