Summary  

All council and housing association homes in Devon are advertised and allocated through Devon Home Choice, a partnership between 10 local authorities and 22 housing associations.
We are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic person to manage the efficient operation of the Devon Home Choice partnership and to lead and facilitate its ongoing development.

The post holder will lead consultation with all stakeholders on behalf of partner local authorities and landlords.
You will lead the annual policy review, and ensure that any changes are translated into practice.
You will provide regular reports to the Devon Home Choice Management Board. This will include reporting to the Board on the budget position, changes in legislation and guidance and providing statistical updates.
 
The partnership is currently undertaking a procurement process for the system required to run Devon Home Choice. If this results in a change of supplier you will need to manage the complex and sensitive data transfer process and the implementation of the new IT System. This will include coordinating extensive user testing and securing sign off from Devon Home Choice partners.
You will need to demonstrate a good level of IT skills (e.g. in Excel and Word), and have a willingness and aptitude to master new IT systems.
You will be responsible for managing the Devon Home Choice Support Officer.
 
The post holder could be based at Exeter Civic Centre and / may be expected to work from home.
