The most recent jobs fair was held at Exeter Corn Exchange on 6 September and was organised in partnership between Exeter City Council and Jobcentre Plus.
Over 1000 job seekers from Devon and further afield attended the redesigned event, with employers reporting a strong selection of candidates.
More than 50 employers offering job vacancies and apprenticeships attended the popular event.
New to this year's day, and proving very popular with job seekers, was the Career Support Zone. This special area included details of training companies, advice for military veterans, probation support, childcare advice and a jobs board with vacancies from companies who weren’t able to attend. Volunteering opportunities were also publicised to help people build experience.
The next Exeter Jobs Fair will take place in the Spring of 2019.
