1. Overview

Update 1 March 2021

Following the Government announcement on 22 February regarding the easing of lockdown restrictions, we are hoping to begin the reopening of our leisure centres from the 12 of April.

  • From 12 April, we will start to reopen our gyms, pools and racket facilities for individual or household group use only, at all of our centres.
  • From 17 May, we will start to recommence group exercise classes and group sporting activities, at all of our centres.

In order to continue to keep both our members and staff safe, as we reopen, our COVID-19 secure measures and online booking system, will continue to be in place.

Unfortunately, due to the timing of the latest lockdown announcement, January’s direct debit had already been collected. To compensate for this, we will ensure that the payment is rolled over to cover the first month we re-open. All further payments will be automatically frozen until further notice. Please do not cancel your direct debit at the bank as by doing so you will cancel your membership and will need to re-join.

For those members on an Annual or Paid in Full memberships, we will extend your membership term to cover the period we are in lockdown.

If you have any questions, please send us an email at leisure@exeter.gov.uk. Please keep an eye on our website and social media pages for the most up to date changes.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank-you for your ongoing patience and support and look forward to welcoming you back as soon as we can.
