Funding decisions

The decision-making process consists of three simple steps.

1. Initial review

All applications will be reviewed by the Live and Move Programme Manager for Cranbrook. As long as the essential criteria are met they will be passed on for consideration to the Move More Cranbrook Community Grants Fund Panel.
If the essential criteria are not met, applicants will be contacted and given feedback on how to improve their application with help and support provided by Move More Cranbrook.

2. Panel recommendation

The Move More Cranbrook Community Grants Fund Panel includes representatives from Cranbrook, Live and Move and Sport England. The panel has simple terms of reference and operating procedures. The panel will consider applications and recommend whether an application should be funded or not supported.

3. Decision

Those recommendations will be considered by the Exeter and Cranbrook Local Delivery Pilot Programme Lead, who is the Accountable Officer and who will make the final funding decision.
If the funding recommendations are not endorsed by the Accountable Officer a written explanation will be provided, which will set out the reasons the application was not successful.
