Exeter City Council plans to replace the current bus station in Exeter with a brand new facility, which is due to open to the public in the winter of 2020.
It will be built alongside a state-of-the-art new leisure complex called St Sidwell’s Point, which is due to open at the same time.
The new Exeter Bus Station will include covered waiting and boarding areas and high quality facilities.
It will replace the current bus station, which was opened in 1964, and is no longer considered fit for purpose.
While the new bus station is being constructed, it is expected that a number of services will be able to remain in the current facility throughout the build period.
In June 2018, when preliminary works are due to start on site, services that cannot be accommodated at the current bus station will be temporarily relocated to dedicated stands in Sidwell Street.
Full details of changes to the current services will be displayed here as soon as they are available.
