9. Level 2 award in health and safety in the workplace
This course is aimed at anyone in a work environment. Candidates will learn to understand the general principles of health and safety in the workplace, the nature of hazards and risks in the workplace and their possible effects, and hazards and risks likely to affect the occupational health of individuals.
Duration: 1 day course
Schedule: 9:30am to 5:00pm (lunch is not provided)
Exam: Multiple choice

Part 1. Introduction to health and safety at work

- noise and vibration
The course ends with a short multiple-choice test where candidates will need to achieve 20 correct answers from the 30 questions to receive the Royal Society for Public Health level 2 award in food safety in catering certificate.
An oral option is available for those who require this. Please state at the time of booking whether an oral examination is required. In the event that we are unable to provide this on the course day, you may be asked to return for the examination at a later date.
