Exeter City Living

Exeter City Living, a profit-for-purpose limited company owned by Exeter City Council, is an innovative and sustainable housing developer seeking to play a key role in creating communities and delivering environmental property developments long into the future.

Exeter City Living is currently delivering two sites (Hamlin Gardens and Vaughan Road) to a certified Passivhaus standard. Passivhaus standards mean that the homes are optimised for net zero. They will result in 86% fewer lifetime emissions than an equivalent Building Regulations 2021 home (Passivhaus Institute). The energy required to heat homes is reduced by up to 75%, thereby helping to tackle the climate emergency and fuel poverty.
