F Gases and Waste currently account for a very small proportion of our carbon footprint. However, this is the only sector where projections show a significant rise in emissions due to F gas leakage resulting from the rollout of heat pumps in homes and non-domestic buildings. This new source of GHG emissions will need to be closely scrutinised. Measures taken to reduce our F Gases and Waste will be shared on this page once actioned, in line with the Carbon Reduction Plan.
