You are welcome to come and listen to a committee meeting.

Visit the Calendar of meetings page for details of future meetings. Because of the recent Covid Pandemic, alternative venues for Council and Committee Meetings have been used. While we hope to return shortly to the traditional venues of the Civic Centre for Committee meetings and the Guildhall for Full Council meetings, the public are requested to contact us for up to date advice.

The Executive, Scrutiny, Planning and Licensing Committees normally start at 5.30pm.

The meeting of the Full Council starts at 6pm.

Democratic Services will be happy to talk to you about the role of Councillors and maybe put you in touch with one of the current Councillors.
