About you

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Exeter Leisure to deliver fun, safe and professional workout classes across our centres within Exeter, including at the brand new flagship centre St Sidwell’s Point.

It is essential that you hold an Exercise to Music qualification (or equivalent) within the Group Exercise field of work.

We offer many Les Mills classes across our sites; if you are certified in any of the following programmes we’d love to hear from you! Bodyattack, Bodybalance, Bodycombat, Bodypump, Bodystep, Les mills Barre, Les Mills Grit, RPM and The Trip.

About the role

Are you passionate about group exercise? Are you a motivated ‘people person’ with the skills to engage with a group of people?

Our instructors are a key role in delivering a positive experience for our members. We are looking for various types of class instructors from aqua and yoga, to strength and cardio. We are also looking for dance based classes and pre/postnatal offerings too.

Our Group Exercise Instructors help ensure the safety and enjoyment of class participants whilst delivering classes of high standard. They promote excellent customer service and motivate people to enjoy exercise through good communication and selling skills.

About the team

We are amidst an exciting period within Exeter Leisure. Riverside Leisure Centre reopened to the public in Summer 2021 following a full refurbishment of its wet side facilities, soon to be followed by the new flagship site St Sidwell’s Point, which is the UK’s first passivhaus leisure centre. St Sidwell’s Point will complement our existing thriving centres within Exeter Leisure; Riverside Leisure Centre, Wonford Sports Centre, ISCA Bowls centre, Northbrook Swimming pool and Exeter Arena.
