An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, committed, proactive individual who is willing to go the extra mile in the role of Fitness Manager in a dynamic and fast-paced environment within Exeter Leisure.

We are entering into an exciting period within Exeter Leisure as Riverside Leisure Centre is currently undergoing a full refurbishment of its wet side facilities, due to re-open in July 2021. Closely followed by the new flagship site St Sidwell’s Point, the UK’s first passivhaus leisure centre.
Riverside and St Sidwell’s Point will complement our existing thriving centres; Wonford Sports Centre, Isca Bowls centre, Northbrook Swimming pool and Exeter Arena.

The successful candidate will have the prestige of overseeing the gym at our brand new flagship site St Sidwell’s Point.

The post holder will manage a team of instructors ensuring that they are delivering exemplary customer service to our members through delivering exciting and innovative gym programmes, gym based classes, health MOTs, driving customer engagement through the roof, keeping the gym clean, tidy, well maintained and continuously ensure that health and safety procedures are followed.

It is essential to hold a Level 3 Fitness qualification and to have experience of working in the Fitness and Leisure industry in a similar role.
