About you
An exciting opportunity has arisen for ambitious, committed, and proactive individuals who are willing to go the extra mile in the role of a Lifeguard Recreational assistant within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
You may be an experienced lifeguard / recreational assistant, a recently qualified lifeguard, or someone who is looking to take first steps in the leisure industry.
It is preferable that you already hold a National Pool Lifeguarding Qualification (NPLQ) however, full training and certification will be provided for the right individual.
About the role
FULL TIME, AND CASUAL ROLES AVAILABLE! (Part-time will also be considered for the right applicant)
The post holder will ensure the safety and enjoyment of centre users and partake in the management of all aspects of daily activities in the centre. Providing a warm, friendly, professional atmosphere and high standard of customer care at all times. Please look over the attached Job Description and Person Specification for further requirements of the role.
We have multiple positions available to be a part of the opening team for our brand new leisure centre in the heart of Exeter, St Sidwell's Point.
We are offering both full-time and part-time hours. Posts will offered on a permanent basis for regular hours across the full year. Schedules will work on a rota basis covering 7 days per week.

About the team
We are amidst an exciting period within Exeter Leisure. Riverside Leisure Centre has undergone a full refurbishment of its wet side facilities and has recently reopened to the public, closely followed by the new flagship site St Sidwell’s Point, which is the UK’s first passivhaus leisure centre. St Sidwell’s Point will complement our existing thriving centres within Exeter Leisure; Riverside Leisure Centre, Wonford Sports Centre, ISCA Bowls centre, Northbrook Swimming pool and Exeter Arena.
