About you

We are currently seeking committed and proactive individuals who are willing to go the extra mile in the role of a Casual Lifeguard/Recreational assistant within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

You may be an experienced Lifeguard/Recreational assistant, a recently qualified Lifeguard, or someone who is looking to take first steps in the leisure industry.

It is preferable that you already hold a National Pool Lifeguarding Qualification (NPLQ) however, full training and certification will be provided for the right individual.

About the role

The post holder will ensure the safety and enjoyment of centre users and partake in the management of all aspects of daily activities in the centre. Providing a warm, friendly, professional atmosphere and high standard of customer care at all times. Please look over the attached Job Description and Person Specification for further requirements of the role.

We are recruiting a number of Casual's to work either at Northbrook Pool, Riverside Leisure Centre or our brand new leisure centre in the heart of Exeter, St Sidwell's Point on an ad hoc basis covering 7 days per week.

About the team

We are amidst an exciting period within Exeter Leisure. Riverside Leisure Centre has undergone a full refurbishment of its wet side facilities and our new flagship site St Sidwell’s Point, which is the UK’s first passivhaus leisure centre, opened to the public earlier this year.
