About you

We are looking for an experienced senior person, who is highly organised to support the frontline delivery and co-ordination of a programme of multiple housing and support services to people who are rough sleeping and at risk of rough sleeping in Exeter. Role requires a can-do, resilient attitude & possessing strong stakeholder relationship building qualities.

 

About the role

The services are provided as part of central government funded Rough Sleeping Initiative (RSI). The role includes intelligence and data gathering and prioritising of referral information to the multi-agency central housing access panel. The post holder also works with multiple agencies including Council departments and voluntary sector providers to ensure best use of rough sleeper funding and resources and clear and punctual data and performance reporting to central government.

The role is expected to help develop and co-ordinate continuous improvement of services researching emerging good practice and consulting with stakeholders including people with lived experience accessing and using services.

 

About the team

Exeter City Council’s Housing Needs & Homelessness department provides a range of housing and homelessness related services principally in housing advice and assistance, homelessness prevention and relief, temporary accommodation, access to private rented housing, signposting and referral to supported accommodation and treatment services plus managing access to Exeter’s social housing register.
