About you

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, committed and proactive individual who is willing to go the extra mile in the role of Sales Advisor in a dynamic and fast-paced environment within the Culture, Leisure and Tourism service.

With a significant focus on leisure memberships, the post holder will generate income across all areas of the service, including the council’s advertising/media portfolio and Visit Exeter memberships.

About the role

To generate income across all areas of the service including, but not limited to, sponsorship opportunities for events, advertising, Visit Exeter membership sales and with a significant focus on generating leisure centre memberships to prospective members and providing exceptional customer service to current members

To support the Sales & Marketing Manager in identifying and targeting commercial opportunities across the Council's portfolio

About the team

We are entering into an exciting period within the service, with the opening of our new flagship site St Sidwell’s Point, the UK’s first Passivhaus leisure centre, which will complement our existing thriving centres; Riverside Leisure Centre, Wonford Sports Centre, Isca Centre, Northbrook Swimming pool and Exeter Arena.
