Exeter City Council is redefining the leisure market. We are putting quality of life at the heart of our decisions on behalf of our residents and visitors. As a result, we have recently brought all our leisure services ‘in house’ and are about to open our flagship £42million facility St Sidwell’s Point – the country’s first Passivhaus leisure centre.

As such a great opportunity has arisen for the recruitment of a small team of self-motivated, engaging and caring individuals who have a passion and enthusiasm for providing an outstanding level of service to help shape the new Spa offering at our new flagship leisure hub St Sidwell’s Point.  The Spa includes four treatment rooms and thermal facilities.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and have the ability to make each and every one of our clients feel comfortable and special. You will be able to deliver beauty treatments such as waxing and facials, as well as wellness therapies and massage.

It is essential that you hold a GCMT qualification or equivalent and a minimum of Level 2 CPD Accredited Beauty Therapy, as well as having experience of reception, stock control and handling payments. This position will involve evening and weekend work, including public holidays.
