RYA Power Boat Training Courses

Power boat

We offer RYA powerboat training courses from beginner through to advanced. Practical, enjoyable courses on the beautiful Exe Estuary and approaches using harbour patrol vessels.

We have two vessels that we use for RYA Powerboat courses and skippered vessel charter;

  • The ‘City of Exeter’ is a 7.9m Cheetah Cat with four stroke twin 135hp Honda outboard Engines. Coded for Category 3 (Up to 20 miles from a safe haven).  She is an excellent example of this well regarded and popular design
  • Our Alaska 500 was built by Shetland. With a 70hp four stroke Yamaha engine this vessel provides positive handling and copes well with the choppy waters
