8. Free tennis

Tennis is free on all Exeter City Council tennis courts.

Free tennis courts are available at

  • Six courts at Heavitree Pleasure Ground
  • Three courts at Cowick Barton Playing Field
  • Two courts at King George V Playing Field
  • Two courts at Topsham Pleasure Ground

In order to allow a fair and reasonable amount of play for everyone, please restrict games to one hour in total if others are waiting to play.

We retains the right to restrict the free use of the courts on occasions, and to allocate courts for use by others. Signs will be placed in advance so that you will know if the court has been reserved.

If you want to book a court, e.g. for a tournament, please let us know on 01392 262630.

Fees are normally charged for organised use.
