What can I put in my garden bin or sack?
Please make sure you can close the lid of your brown wheeled bin or that you can contain your garden waste in your ECC biodegradable sack.
Yes please:
- flowers and plants
- grass cuttings
- leaves and bark
- prunings
- hedge trimmings
- small branches (maximum 10cm)
No thanks:
- plastic or ceramic plant pots
- soil, mud or rubble
- plastic bags
- animal droppings or bedding
- food waste
- nappies
- anything in plastic bags
- compostable packaging (e.g. wrapping from newspaper or magazine, disposable cup, etc.)
