The Baby Room (Exeter Babies and Exeter Sling Library)
The Baby Room – a Community Interest Company with a strong green ethos – is an independent space for new families spread over two floors in the heart of Exeter.
New and expectant parents can hire or trial reusable cloth nappies, hire slings and breast pumps, and shop for sustainable and handmade products – or just pop in for a warm drink, peer support or even expert advice about cutting down on food waste.
Upstairs hosts regular sessions, groups, workshops and activities.

Exeter Library of Things
Exeter Library of Things is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company working to raise awareness around consumerism and waste by helping members create sustainable living habits, cut costs and free up space.
Annual membership of the Library of Things allows people to borrow from a wide range of items, including power tools, hand tools, household articles and leisure items.

Exeter Scrapstore
Exeter Scrapstore is a unique arts and craft shop based in Belmont Park. The Scrapstore contributes positively to the environment by reducing waste and raising awareness of the value of re-use within the community. It provides a wonderful variety of clean, quality reclaimed materials to be used in creative and educational activities.

Turntable Furniture
Turntable is an Exeter-based charitable organisation that collects donated furniture, electrical items and housewares free of charge from the Exeter area to pass on to families and individuals on very low incomes who are in receipt of one or more means-tested benefits, have been referred by an approved referrer and are within a 25 mile radius of Exeter.
All items for donation must be in a good, clean condition.
Turntable doesn't sell items, but makes a nominal charge as a contribution towards its costs.

Jelly Children’s Charity Shop
Jelly children’s charity shop is an Exeter Community Initiatives project and is one of the only children’s charity shops in the UK, fulfilling a need for those on lower incomes.
The shop sells a large range of children’s clothes, from newborn to 11+ years, as well as toys and books, pushchairs and other baby accessories.
The shop is bright and welcoming, with baby changing and feeding facilities and a space for children to play.
