Covering the whole of Exeter and parts of the administrative areas of East Devon District Council, Devon County Council and Teignbridge District Council, the programme is on track to deliver around 25,000 new homes and over 25,000 jobs in the period up to 2026.

This initiative is bringing a wealth of business and employment developments to the area as well as improved infrastructure. The lists below comprise projects that have been completed recently or are in the planning or construction stage.

Exeter International Airport is developing its regional and international links. As the home of Flybe, it has a major new training facility and growing engineering and maintenance operation.

New communities and mixed used residential areas are obviously strategic to the growth programme. The new town of Cranbrook is now under construction with the first phase completed. This town was set up to be a sustainable community and already incorporates a school, a community centre, a pharmacy and employment space.
