Lt Col David Marino

Lt Col David J Marino MBE MA RM (Rtd) is a recent retiree with a wealth of experience following a 52-year career in the Royal Marines and the Duchy of Cornwall, during which he worked with Statutory bodies and Authorities, from Government to Council level. In particular, he dealt with the management of rivers and estuaries, overseeing four Harbour Authorities, covering leisure and commercial activities and development. He has sailed on the Exe for over 50 years, is very familiar with the river and approaches, and has great interest in its future. He owns a mooring on the river.

He has lived in East Devon for over 50 Years, is a member of EXE Sailing Club and volunteers with the local National Coastwatch Institution.
