Exeter Guildhall

The Guildhall is a building of outstanding architectural interest, an ancient monument and a busy working building. It is still used regularly for civic functions, full meetings of the City Council, official receptions, mayoral banquets and exhibitions.

Hiring the Guildhall

Private Tours

The Guildhall offers private tours for individuals or groups of 50 or more people. On a private tour you will see Exeter’s history in one of the buildings that has witnessed it all over the past 800 years.

Tours can be tailored to your specific interests, but cover the history of the Hall, Jury Room, Mayor’s Parlour, Paintings, Regalia and more. Tours last for approximately one hour. For prices and further information please contact 01392 265525 or email guildhall.bookings@exeter.gov.uk.
