Achieving net zero organisationally requires broad action across all emission scopes and across every service. A number of measures have been taken to enable overall organisational change, to reduce our carbon footprint, in line with the Carbon Reduction Plan, including:

• Net Zero Ambassadors in place across all Council service areas, with meetings between Ambassadors and Net Zero team held quarterly.
• Carbon Literacy roll out programme underway in Autumn 2022, with 2 officers in Net Zero team delivering in-house Carbon Literacy training to all relevant Officers and Elected Members.
• Active Members of the Devon Emergency Response Group and support of the Devon Carbon Plan.
