Climate Emergency

Exeter City Council declared a Climate Emergency in July 2019 and as part of this commitment, we aim to achieve Net Zero Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions for our own corporate activities by 2030, across Scopes 1, 2 & 3.

The target year is 20 years in advance of the 2050 national Net Zero target required under the Climate Change Act and reported on in the Sixth Carbon Budget.
