Landlord Training

Renting could get even tougher in 2021 – but help is at hand!

In January 2021 the council are offering FREE practical training for landlords. Two online courses will be available in the new year, delivered by Dick Scott (Monitor BCS Ltd) and Phil Keddie (Sunshine Property Consultancy), both experienced and local trainers and Renting Minefield regulars.

 

Part 1 – Key Housing Standards

HHSRS, New laws, Practical Workshops & Everyday Scenarios, which is an in-depth, practical and hands-on look at key standards applicable to all property types and tenures.

Part 2 – Understanding a Successful Tenancy

Following on from Part 1; a Step by Step guide to the numerous parts of the Tenancy Journey, along with the law and regulations that accompany it.

Each session will be available online over a 10 day period so you can access the content at a convenient time and location. There will be a live session for each course when you can put your unanswered questions to the trainers. The free training also includes useful handouts with checklists and internet links to further useful resources.
