Recycling centres

Exeter has two recycling centres, on Exton Road (in Marsh Barton) and Pinbrook Road (behind the Pinhoe Road Aldi).
They can take a number of things, including:
- plastic toys (or take them to a charity shop)
- plastic furniture
- wood
- china/crockery
- electrical items – small and large
- plastic bottles that have contained chemicals (like antifreeze)
- plate glass
- paint
- oils
- soil and rubble (this is chargeable, please check the website site linked above)
- garden waste (or you can hire a garden waste bin from Exeter City Council)
Other items

- Plastic films that we cannot take from home can usually go to a supermarket (see more information on recycling plastic bags/film).
