Homeless or threatened with homelessness

If you are homeless or consider yourself threatened with homelessness, we want to hear from you so that we can do our best to help. If you are already homeless and are unable to resolve the issue yourself, then you need to contact us straight away. Exeter City Council is striving to ensure that everyone who becomes homeless in Exeter gets help, so if you are already homeless then you need to follow the links on this page and let us know right away.

If you are at risk of becoming homeless then you may want to look at the information you can access from the link on this page, before you decide what the best solution is for you. However we would still suggest that unless you are confident that you can find a solution without further help from us, that you approach us for advice and assistance that is tailored to your needs.

If you use the link below, you will be able to tell us about you and your household, together with some basic information that will help us start to assess your situation. Once you have sent us you information, this will go straight to our Housing Casework team, who will get in touch with you within one working day. In most cases you we also want to offer you an appointment to come in to the Civic Centre and talk to one of our officers confidentially to discuss how we can help you.
