6. Apply to become the Lord Mayor's Chosen Charity
The deadline to apply to become the Lord Mayor's Charity is the end of March each year.
The Lord Mayor will select a few charities that they would like to interview.
The nominated charity is officially announced at the Council's Annual General Meeting in May.
Those that have been unsuccessful will be informed beforehand.
