9. Nomination for Lord Mayor's Commendation Award

The Lord Mayor’s Commendation Award is given out once a year by the current Lord Mayor to people or organisations who have gone above and beyond for the City.

Please check with the Lord Mayor’s Office to see if your Nominee has already been awarded a commendation and please note that it is up to the Lord Mayors discretion if an individual/organisation is awarded with a Commendation Award.

To avoid disappointment we ask that until the Lord Mayor has accepted the recommendation that the party isn’t informed of the nomination.

You'll need to tell us about the person or organisation that you are nominating and why.

We'll also need your contact details so we can notify you of our decision.

Once we have received your nomination, we will pass it over to the Lord Mayor who will make the final decision.

We will aim to get back to you with our decision within 2 weeks.
