3. Help with your empty home

Exeter empty homes loan

Exeter empty homes loans are provided by Wessex Resolutions CIC:

We understand the expense of renovating your empty property. We work with you to take the stress out of funding your project.

Talk to us today to find out if you are likely to be eligible for a loan. This won't impact your credit rating and we will talk you through how much you could borrow, the loan best suited to your project and application process.

There are a range of repayment options available. Loans may be offered with a deferred repayment period of between 6 and 24 months, giving you the flexibility to complete the project before repayments begin*. - Wessex Resolutions CIC

To contact Wessex Resolutions please call 01823 461099, email enquiries@wessexresolutions.org.uk or visit www.wessesresolutions.org.uk

Once the loan is agreed and the property is refurbished, the owner is free to let the property privately or sell it. The cost of the refurbishment work is funded by a subsidised loan which is repayable through the rental income or sale of the property. To be eligible for the scheme, the property must have been empty for 6 months. Please contact us to discuss suitability on 01392 265147.

Matchmaking

A matchmaking service is available that links up owners of empty properties with individuals interested in purchasing empty properties that are in need of renovation. Once a potential buyer has been matched to a potential seller, any subsequent transaction would be between the seller and the buyer only and we always advise both parties to get an independent valuation and to always use a solicitor.

If you are interested in the matchmaking scheme, please contact the empty homes service for more information via email to empty.homes@Exeter.gov.uk.
