- Essential services not being carried out
- High expenditure/ budget overspend/ affordability
- Increase in the cost to run the service affected
Existing Mitigations & Control
What has been done to control the risk?
- Installation of solar PV across corporate estate and Council housing to reduce reliance on national grid
- Installation of battery storage technology at Water Lane, Matford Centre, John Lewis Car Park and Riverside allowing for smart grid use
Further Mitigations & Controls to be put into place
- Continue to investigate renewable energy opportunities to identify and fund solar PV and other renewable energy supply opportunities for the corporate estate and housing
